Yavi Themes
Released — available now

Build TYPO3 websites better. A TYPO3 Bootstrap package made the way agencies work.

Yavi Core is the sitepackage foundation, built on the TYPO3 Bootstrap Package — Fluid templates, a documented content element library and a clean SCSS layer. Yavi Lucerne is the first theme on top of it. Both are available now.

Built for TYPO3 integrators, not for demos

01

Clean sitepackage structure

Fluid layouts, templates and partials where the TYPO3 documentation says they belong — override anything in your own sitepackage without patching ours.

02

On the TYPO3 Bootstrap Package

A familiar, well-maintained base instead of a proprietary framework — extended with a documented SCSS variable layer for brand colours, spacing and type.

03

Content elements editors understand

Extended content element library with sensible backend previews and labelled fields — no hidden TypoScript required for daily editing.

04

A theme module in the backend

Brand colours, gradients, layout, custom CSS and your licence live in their own TYPO3 module: 82 settings, all in the backend. The site's look is configured where it is administered, not in a build step.

05

Accessibility guarded by tests

Every shipped Fluid template runs through static accessibility checks on each test run, so defects we've already fixed — positive tabindex, unlabelled controls — cannot come back in unnoticed.

06

Updates from your account

Every product your licence covers is a download in your account — install it like any TYPO3 extension and update it the same way, for as long as your update window is open. A documentation site takes integrators from installation through theming.

Questions we already get

The first release targets TYPO3 v14 LTS in Composer mode. Support for the following LTS is planned as part of the maintenance cycle.

Yes — Core holds the templates, content elements and build layer that every theme extends, and it is installed automatically as a dependency. You can also run Core on its own as the base for a custom sitepackage.

One licence per theme, valid for one live domain. Development and staging environments don't count against it — you can run up to three alongside the live site, so the slot isn't burnt before go-live. Each licence includes one year of updates; when that window ends your site keeps running exactly as it is, you simply stop receiving new builds until you renew. If a registered live domain stops reporting for 30 days, the next activation releases it automatically — relaunches and domain changes need no support ticket.

Colours, typefaces, corner radius and button style come from a theme module in the TYPO3 backend — no SCSS, no build step, no deployment for a brand change. Deeper adjustments still go through the documented SCSS variable layer and TypoScript, and every Fluid template and partial can be overridden from your own sitepackage, so updates stay installable. There is a walkthrough of the hero carousel — gradient overlay, focus point, text animations — on video.

In our shop at shop.yavithemes.com. Theme licences and update renewals are sold there, with the current price per product; write to us if you need a quote for a larger project.

In your account on our licence portal: every key with its product, the live and development domains it runs on, the date updates run until, and the button to renew. The download for every product you own sits in the same account.

Through Composer, like any TYPO3 extension. There is a step-by-step installation video covering the installer and a DDEV setup, and the written version lives in our documentation, which also covers installing into an existing TYPO3 project.
